Mission:

HealthNet is a global computer-based communications network designed to serve the health communication and information needs of developing countries. It is managed by a non-profit international agency, Satellife.

ICT focus:

Satellife's/HealthNet's objective is to improve health by enhancing connectivity among professionals in the field via electronic communications and exchanges of information in the areas of public health, medicine and the environment. Special emphasis is placed on areas of the world where access is limited by poor communications, economic conditions or natural disasters.
